Conestoga Cougars (Murray, NE) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Humboldt-Table Rock-Steinauer Titans (Humboldt, NE), 69-24 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Conestoga upgrades its record to 8-1 on the campaign. The Cougars host Nebraska City (Nebraska City, NE) to play the Pioneers in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 9. The Pioneers come into the bout with a record of 2-10. Nebraska City won 77-45 in their recent non-league bout against Mound City (Mound City, MO)

Next up, the Titans play the Bruning-Davenport/Shickley Eagles (Bruning, NE) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 9. Humboldt-Table Rock-Steinauer will attempt to upgrade on its 2-10 season record. The Eagles come into the bout with a 5-6 record after their 35-26 non-league win over Nebraska Lutheran (Waco, NE).
