The St. Mark's Lions basketball team scored 60 points and restricted the host Connally Cadets to 41 in the Lions non-league victory on Saturday.
The Lions now sport a 14-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Fort Worth Country Day for a Southwest Prep - North contest on Tuesday, January 9. St. Mark's will battle a Falcons team coming off a 72-69 non-league loss to Fort Worth THESA (Fort Worth, TX). The Falcons record now stands at 11-6.
The Cadets (8-12) will now prepare for their contest against Maypearl (Maypearl, TX). The Panthers come into the non-league contest with a 10-12 record. In their last contest, Maypearl prevailed over Gatesville (Gatesville, TX), 68-63, in a non-league contest.
