With the victory, Corona improves its record to 18-5 on the campaign. The Panthers host Norco (Norco, CA) to play the Cougars in a Big VIII challenge on Friday, January 12. The Cougars come into the challenge with a record of 12-10. Norco lost 80-75 in their recent non-league challenge against Orange Vista (Perris, CA)

Next up, the Falcons play the San Bernardino Cardinals (San Bernardino, CA) in a Mountain Valley test, on Tuesday, January 9. Rubidoux will attempt to advance on its 3-15 season record. The Cardinals go into the test with a 3-11 record after their 78-33 non-league loss to Western Christian (Upland, CA).
