Maryland High School Basketball - Cristo Rey falls to New Hope Academy

In Saturday's non-league match, the host New Hope Academy basketball team scored a good 73-64 triumph over the Cristo Rey Royals.
In their next game, the meet the Springdale Prep Lions (New Windsor, MD) in a Metro Private match, on Tuesday, January 9. New Hope Academy will attempt to better on its 9-13 season record. The Lions enter the match with a 7-3 record after their 85-65 non-league win over Friendship Collegiate Academy (Washington, DC).
With the defeat, Cristo Rey moves to 8-10 on the year. The Royals travel to The Carmel School (Ruther Glen, VA) to meet the Wildcats in a Virginia Metro match on Wednesday, January 10. The Wildcats enter the match with a record of 7-10.
