Minnesota High School Basketball - Menahga can't hold off Crookston

The Crookston Pirates basketball team scored 61 points and held the visiting Menahga Braves to 56 in the Pirates league triumph on Saturday.
The Pirates now sport a 2-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Dilworth-Glyndon-Felton for a AA Section 8 contest on Monday, January 8. Crookston will battle a Rebels team coming off a 61-39 non-league win over Breckenridge (Breckenridge, MN). The Rebels record now stands at 4-5.
The Braves (3-7) will now prepare for their contest against Wadena-Deer Creek (Wadena, MN). The Wolverines enter the AA Section 8 contest with a 5-3 record. In their last contest, Wadena-Deer Creek was nudged by Henning (Henning, MN), 66-55, in a non-league contest.
