The De Soto Pirates routed the visiting New Lisbon Rockets basketball team by a final score of 66-32 in Saturday's non-league game.

In their next game, the Pirates face the Ithaca Bulldogs (Richland Center, WI) in a Ridge & Valley game, on Friday, January 12. De Soto will attempt to move on its 7-3 season record.

With the defeat, New Lisbon moves to 1-9 on the year. The Rockets host Cashton (Cashton, WI) to face the Eagles in a Scenic Bluffs game on Tuesday, January 9. The Eagles enter the game with a record of 10-0. Cashton won 68-66 in their recent league game against Hillsboro (Hillsboro, WI)
