Mississippi High School Basketball - Discovery Christian ripped by Mize

The Mize Bulldogs basketball team scored 70 points and held the visiting Discovery Christian to 44 in the Bulldogs non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Bulldogs now sport a 8-13 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Collins for a 2A Region 8 contest on Tuesday, January 9. Mize will battle a Tigers team coming off a 49-45 non-league win over Jefferson Davis County (Bassfield, MS). The Tigers record now stands at 10-4.
The (0-6) will now prepare for their contest against Sylva Bay Academy (Bay Springs, MS). The Saints enter the MAIS 3A District 3 contest with a 13-4 record. In their last contest, Sylva Bay Academy triumphed over Laurel Christian (Laurel, MS), 52-18, in a league contest.
