Fans at Saturday's league challenge between the Joseph Eagles (Joseph, OR) and the host Echo Cougars (Echo, OR), saw Joseph's basketball squad knock off Echo by a count of 51-43.

With the victory, Joseph upgrades its record to 4-10 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Pine Eagle (Halfway, OR) to play the Spartans in a 1A Old Oregon challenge on Friday, January 12. The Spartans come into the challenge with a record of 1-13. Pine Eagle lost 55-34 in their recent non-league challenge against Tri-Valley (Cambridge, ID)

Next up, the Cougars play the Nixyaawii Community Eagles (Pendleton, OR) in a 1A Old Oregon challenge, on Friday, January 12. Echo will attempt to upgrade on its 8-5 season record.
