The Shakopee Sabers basketball team scored 96 points and restricted the visiting Eden Prairie Eagles to 59 in the Sabers league victory on Saturday.
The Sabers now sport a 7-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Apple Valley for a non-league contest on Tuesday, January 9. Shakopee will battle a Eagles team coming off a 68-56 non-league loss to Lakeville South (Lakeville, MN). The Eagles record now stands at 5-4.
The Eagles (5-7) will now prepare for their contest against Brainerd (Brainerd, MN). The Warriors come into the non-league contest with a 5-4 record. In their last contest, Brainerd triumphed over Fergus Falls (Fergus Falls, MN), 70-60, in a non-league contest.
