The North Central Thunder basketball team (Eureka, SD), was routed 66-43 in Saturday's non-league battle with the visiting Faulkton Trojans (Faulkton, SD)
The Trojans now sport a 6-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Highmore/Harrold for a B Region 6 battle on Tuesday, January 9. Faulkton will battle a Pirates team coming off a 82-62 league win over Sully Buttes (Onida, SD). The Pirates record now stands at 2-4.
The Thunder (1-4) will now prepare for their battle against Leola/Frederick (Leola, SD). The Titans come into the non-league battle with a 8-0 record. In their last battle, Leola/Frederick trounced Waverly/South Shore (Waverly, SD), 63-50, in a league battle.
