In Saturday's non-league outing, the Foothill Falcons (Pleasanton, CA) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Newark Memorial Cougars (Newark, CA), by a count of 74-35.
The Falcons (12-4) will now prepare for their outing against Granada (Livermore, CA). The Matadors go into the East Bay outing with a 13-1 record. In their last outing, Granada smashed Sheldon (Sacramento, CA), 57-52, in a non-league outing.
