In Saturday's league match, the visiting Freeport Falcons basketball team scored a good 47-31 triumph over the Mt. Ararat Eagles.
In their next game, the Falcons meet the York Wildcats (York, ME) in a non-league match, on Tuesday, January 9. Freeport will attempt to move on its 8-1 season record. The Wildcats enter the match with a 8-1 record after their 71-42 league win over Lake Region (Naples, ME).
