Geary Bison (Geary, OK) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Sharon-Mutual Trojans (Mutual, OK), 45-41 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Geary upgrades its record to 5-7 on the campaign. The Bison travel to Hydro-Eakly (Hydro, OK) to play the Bobcats in a Washita Valley bout on Tuesday, January 9. The Bobcats come into the bout with a record of 5-8. Hydro-Eakly lost 59-58 in their recent non-league bout against Walters (Walters, OK)

Next up, the Trojans face the Mooreland Bearcats (Mooreland, OK) in a non-league game, on Friday, January 12. Sharon-Mutual will attempt to move on its 4-9 season record.
