Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Greenfield Knights (Wilson, NC) and the host Southern Wake Academy Lions (Holly Springs, NC), saw Greenfield's basketball squad overcome Southern Wake Academy by a tally of 81-66.

With the victory, Greenfield improves its record to 15-5 on the campaign. The Knights travel to Cape Fear Academy (Wilmington, NC) to confront the Hurricanes in a NCISAA Coastal Plain challenge on Friday, January 12. The Hurricanes come into the challenge with a record of 9-5. Cape Fear Academy lost 54-43 in their recent league challenge against Wayne Country Day (Goldsboro, NC)

Next up, the Lions confront the River Mill Jaguars (Graham, NC) in a 1A Central Tar Heel challenge, on Friday, January 12. Southern Wake Academy will attempt to improve on its 9-7 season record.
