Lindbergh Eagles (Renton, WA) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Hazen Highlanders (Renton, WA), 57-42 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Lindbergh upgrades its record to 6-8 on the campaign. The Eagles host Evergreen (Seattle, WA) to play the Wolverines in a 2A KingCo bout on Tuesday, January 9. The Wolverines come into the bout with a record of 5-6. Evergreen lost 62-53 in their recent league bout against Foster (Tukwila, WA)

Next up, the Highlanders play the Liberty Patriots (Issaquah, WA) in a 3A KingCo bout, on Tuesday, January 9. Hazen will attempt to upgrade on its 4-7 season record. The Patriots come into the bout with a 9-3 record after their 72-54 league win over Lake Washington (Kirkland, WA).
