Illinois High School Basketball - Herscher can't hold off Iroquois West

The Iroquois West Raiders basketball team scored 41 points and held the visiting Herscher Tigers to 36 in the Raiders non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Raiders now sport a 7-11 record. They put it on the line next when they host Westville for a Vermilion Valley contest on Tuesday, January 9. Iroquois West will battle a Tigers team coming off a 44-35 non-league loss to Marshall (Marshall, IL). The Tigers record now stands at 12-3.
The Tigers (3-13) will now prepare for their contest against Peotone (Peotone, IL). The Blue Devils enter the Illinois Central 8 contest with a 4-12 record.
