Oakwood Hawks (Morgan Hill, CA) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Hill Falcons (San Jose, CA), 67-63 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Oakwood upgrades its record to 7-6 on the season. The Hawks host Palma (Salinas, CA) to clash with the Chieftains in a PCAL - Gabilan bout on Thursday, January 11. The Chieftains go into the bout with a record of 9-7. Palma won 53-47 in their recent league bout against Hollister (Hollister, CA)

Next up, the Falcons clash with the Leland Chargers (San Jose, CA) in a Blossom Valley - Santa Teresa East bout, on Wednesday, January 10. Hill will attempt to upgrade on its 9-5 season record. The Chargers go into the bout with a 9-5 record after their 77-41 non-league win over Gunderson (San Jose, CA).
