In Saturday's non-league outing, the Stevenson Bulldogs (Stevenson, WA) basketball squad edged the visiting Hockinson Hawks (Brush Prairie, WA), by a margin of 65-62.

The Bulldogs (7-3) will now prepare for their outing against Columbia (White Salmon, WA). The Bruins go into the 1A Trico outing with a 4-9 record. In their last outing, Columbia was tipped by Riverside (Boardman, OR), 69-37, in a non-league outing.

The Hawks now own a 6-5 record. They play next when they travel to Washougal for a 2A Greater St. Helens outing on Monday, January 8. Hockinson will clash with a Panthers squad coming off a 74-58 league loss to Mark Morris (Longview, WA). The Panthers record now stands at 4-7.
