Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Russellville Indians (Russellville, MO) and the host Holden Eagles (Holden, MO), witnessed Russellville's basketball squad crush Holden by a margin of 86-57.

The Indians (4-10) will now prepare for their test against Montgomery County (Montgomery City, MO). The Wildcats go into the non-league test with a 7-4 record. In their last test, Montgomery County was trounced by St. Francis Borgia (Washington, MO), 68-50, in a non-league test.

The Eagles now own a 1-11 record. They play next when they travel to Lexington for a Missouri River Valley - East test on Tuesday, January 9. Holden will encounter a Minutemen squad coming off a 58-55 non-league win over Tipton (Tipton, MO). The Minutemen record now stands at 10-2.
