The Ramsay Rams basketball team (Birmingham, AL), was nudged 56-50 in Saturday's non-league battle with the visiting Jacksonville Golden Eagles (Jacksonville, AL)

The Golden Eagles now possess a 13-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Piedmont for a non-league battle on Tuesday, January 9. Jacksonville will battle a Bulldogs team coming off a 50-30 non-league loss to White Plains (Anniston, AL). The Bulldogs record now stands at 9-6.

The Rams (12-7) will now prepare for their battle against Hueytown (Hueytown, AL). The Golden Gophers come into the non-league battle with a 12-10 record. In their last battle, Hueytown edged Bessemer City (Bessemer, AL), 68-39, in a league battle.
