Wisconsin High School Basketball - Vel Phillips Memorial overwhelmed by Kaukauna

The Kaukauna Galloping Ghosts basketball team scored 80 points and restricted the host Vel Phillips Memorial Spartans to 55 in the Galloping Ghosts non-league victory on Saturday.
The Galloping Ghosts now sport a 8-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Kimberly for a Fox Valley contest on Tuesday, January 9. Kaukauna will battle a Papermakers team coming off a 75-59 league win over Fond du Lac (Fond du Lac, WI). The Papermakers record now stands at 6-4.
The Spartans (4-8) will now prepare for their contest against Madison West (Madison, WI). The Regents come into the Big Eight contest with a 2-8 record.
