With the victory, Pompton Lakes upgrades its record to 8-1 on the campaign. The Cardinals travel to Hawthorne Christian (Hawthorne, NJ) to play the Defenders in a non-league bout on Monday, January 8. The Defenders come into the bout with a record of 2-7. Hawthorne Christian lost 47-37 in their recent non-league bout against West Milford (West Milford, NJ)

Next up, the Colts play the Hanover Park Hornets (East Hanover, NJ) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 9. Kinnelon will attempt to upgrade on its 2-5 season record.
