Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the North Bend Bulldogs (North Bend, OR) and the visiting Klamath Union Pelicans (Klamath Falls, OR), saw North Bend's basketball squad hold off Klamath Union by a tally of 59-53.

With the victory, North Bend improves its record to 8-7 on the campaign. The Bulldogs host Marshfield (Coos Bay, OR) to confront the Pirates in a 4A Sky Em challenge on Friday, January 12. The Pirates come into the challenge with a record of 10-4.

Next up, the Pelicans confront the Cottage Grove Lions (Cottage Grove, OR) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, January 9. Klamath Union will attempt to improve on its 5-8 season record.
