The St. Joseph Cardinals basketball team (Hilo, HI), was overwhelmed 55-13 in Saturday's non-league battle with the host Konawaena Wildcats (Kealakekua, HI)

The Wildcats now possess a 5-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Waiakea for a Big Island - East battle on Wednesday, January 10. Konawaena will battle a Warriors team coming off a 61-43 league loss to Hilo (Hilo, HI). The Warriors record now stands at 2-6.
