In Saturday's non-league outing, the Little Axe Indians (Norman, OK) basketball squad beat the visiting Marietta Indians (Marietta, OK), by a count of 71-52.

The Indians (6-6) will now prepare for their outing against Bridge Creek (Blanchard, OK). The Bobcats go into the non-league outing with a 9-2 record. In their last outing, Bridge Creek was topped by Newcastle (Newcastle, OK), 68-62, in a non-league outing.

The Indians now hold a 5-8 record. They play next when they host Lone Grove for a Lake Country outing on Friday, January 12. Marietta will clash with a Longhorns squad coming off a 59-48 league loss to Plainview (Ardmore, OK). The Longhorns record now stands at 5-5.
