Iowa High School Basketball - Mason City ripped by Sioux City East

The Sioux City East Black Raiders basketball team scored 83 points and held the visiting Mason City Mohawks to 38 in the Black Raiders non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Black Raiders now sport a 8-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Lincoln for a Missouri River contest on Tuesday, January 9. Sioux City East will battle a Lynx team coming off a 87-55 non-league loss to Bellevue West (Bellevue, NE). The Lynx record now stands at 7-2.
The Mohawks (1-8) will now prepare for their contest against Lincoln (Des Moines, IA). The Railsplitters enter the Freelance contest with a 3-4 record. In their last contest, Lincoln triumphed over Ottumwa (Ottumwa, IA), 61-50, in a non-league contest.
