California High School Basketball - Orange Vista edges Norco

January 6, 2024: Perris, CA 92571

The Orange Vista Coyotes (Perris, CA) basketball nipped the visiting Norco Cougars (Norco, CA), 80-75 in Saturday's non-league test.

The Coyotes (10-9) will now prepare for their test against Temescal Canyon (Lake Elsinore, CA). The Titans go into the Sunbelt test with a 15-4 record. In their last test, Temescal Canyon got by Moreno Valley (Moreno Valley, CA), 65-41, in a league test.

The Cougars now own a 12-10 record. They play next when they travel to Corona for a Big VIII test on Friday, January 12. Norco will encounter a Panthers squad coming off a 72-38 non-league win over Rubidoux (Jurupa Valley, CA). The Panthers record now stands at 18-5.
