West Virginia High School Basketball - Parkersburg can't hold off Wheeling Park

The Wheeling Park Patriots basketball team scored 62 points and held the visiting Parkersburg Big Reds to 58 in the Patriots non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Patriots now sport a 7-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to University for a non-league contest on Wednesday, January 10. Wheeling Park will battle a Hawks team coming off a 94-18 league win over John Marshall (Glen Dale, WV). The Hawks record now stands at 4-4.
The Big Reds (2-7) will now prepare for their contest against Ripley (Ripley, WV). The Vikings enter the non-league contest with a 4-4 record.
