In Saturday's non-league match, the visiting Porter-Gaud Cyclones basketball team scored a good 74-55 triumph over the Woodland Wolverines.
In their next game, the Cyclones meet the Calvary Day Cavaliers (Savannah, GA) in a non-league match, on Tuesday, January 9. Porter-Gaud will attempt to move on its 13-3 season record. The Cavaliers enter the match with a 2-10 record after their 53-51 league win over Long County (Ludowici, GA).
With the defeat, Woodland moves to 10-7 on the year. The Wolverines host Pinewood Prep (Summerville, SC) to meet the Panthers in a non-league match on Tuesday, January 9. The Panthers enter the match with a record of 15-7. Pinewood Prep lost 56-55 in their recent league match against First Baptist School (Charleston, SC)
