The Woodland Cougars (Fairfax, OK) basketball nipped the host Prague Red Devils (Prague, OK), 37-34 in Saturday's non-league test.

The Cougars (4-5) will now prepare for their test against Barnsdall (Barnsdall, OK). The Panthers go into the Northern Oklahoma test with a 5-4 record. In their last test, Barnsdall was tipped by Copan (Copan, OK), 66-65, in a league test.

The Red Devils now own a 3-6 record. They play next when they travel to Chandler for a 66 test on Tuesday, January 9. Prague will encounter a Lions squad coming off a 50-45 non-league win over Ripley (Ripley, OK). The Lions record now stands at 7-3.
