Redwood Rangers (Visalia, CA) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Washington Union Panthers (Fresno, CA), 53-42 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Redwood upgrades its record to 10-8 on the season. The Rangers host El Diamante (Visalia, CA) to clash with the Miners in a East Yosemite bout on Tuesday, January 9. The Miners go into the bout with a record of 7-11. El Diamante won 65-44 in their recent non-league bout against Exeter (Exeter, CA)

Next up, the Panthers clash with the Exeter Monarchs (Exeter, CA) in a Tri-County - Sequoia bout, on Wednesday, January 10. Washington Union will attempt to upgrade on its 2-9 season record. The Monarchs go into the bout with a 9-8 record after their 59-45 non-league loss to Coalinga (Coalinga, CA).
