The West Liberty-Salem Tigers basketball team scored 69 points and held the visiting Riverside Pirates to 51 in the Tigers non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Tigers now sport a 7-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Cedarville for a Ohio Heritage contest on Tuesday, January 9. West Liberty-Salem will meet a Indians team coming off a 71-32 league win over West Jefferson (West Jefferson, OH). The Indians record now stands at 10-1.

The Pirates (5-6) will now prepare for their contest against Milton-Union (West Milton, OH). The Bulldogs enter the Three Rivers contest with a 1-8 record. In their last contest, Milton-Union was outscored by Northridge (Dayton, OH), 63-27, in a league contest.
