The University Prep Art & Design Mustangs (Detroit, MI) basketball nipped the host Skyline Eagles (Ann Arbor, MI), 49-43 in Saturday's non-league test.

The Mustangs (6-3) will now prepare for their test against Lincoln-King Academy (Detroit, MI). The Eagles go into the Freelance test with a 1-10 record. In their last test, Lincoln-King Academy was tipped by Old Redford Academy (Detroit, MI), 64-17, in a league test.

The Eagles now own a 4-4 record. They play next when they host Bedford for a Southeastern - Red test on Tuesday, January 9. Skyline will encounter a Kicking Mules squad coming off a 58-52 non-league win over St. Mary Catholic Central (Monroe, MI). The Kicking Mules record now stands at 1-6.
