The Teaneck Highwaymen basketball team (Teaneck, NJ), was nudged 67-61 in Saturday's non-league battle with the visiting St. Mary Gaels (Rutherford, NJ)
The Gaels now sport a 9-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Wallington for a non-league battle on Wednesday, January 10. St. Mary will battle a Panthers team coming off a 69-47 league loss to Wood-Ridge (Wood-Ridge, NJ). The Panthers record now stands at 0-9.
The Highwaymen (6-4) will now prepare for their battle against Bergenfield (Bergenfield, NJ). The Bears come into the Big North - National battle with a 6-4 record. In their last battle, Bergenfield edged Westwood (Washington Township, NJ), 39-34, in a non-league battle.
