University City Centurions (San Diego, CA) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Olympian Eagles (Chula Vista, CA), 41-37 in a non-league bout.

With the win, University City upgrades its record to 7-4 on the season. The Centurions travel to Cathedral Catholic (San Diego, CA) to clash with the Dons in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 6. The Dons go into the bout with a record of 1-7. Cathedral Catholic lost 1-0 in their recent non-league bout against University City (San Diego, CA)

Next up, the Eagles clash with the San Ysidro Cougars (San Diego, CA) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, January 10. Olympian will attempt to upgrade on its 16-5 season record. The Cougars go into the bout with a 0-2 record after their 1-0 non-league loss to Poway (Poway, CA).
