Arbor Prep Gators (Ypsilanti, MI) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Lowell Red Arrows (Lowell, MI), 51-46 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Arbor Prep upgrades its record to 7-2 on the season. The Gators travel to Groves (Beverly Hills, MI) to play the Falcons in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 13. The Falcons go into the bout with a record of 1-5.

Next up, the Red Arrows play the Northview Wildcats (Grand Rapids, MI) in a Ottawa-Kent - Bronze bout, on Tuesday, January 9. Lowell will attempt to upgrade on its 6-1 season record. The Wildcats go into the bout with a 3-5 record after their 65-50 league loss to Forest Hills Northern (Grand Rapids, MI).
