The Bethune Bobcats basketball team (Bethune, CO), was overwhelmed 50-13 in Saturday's league battle with the host Lone Star Longhorns (Otis, CO)

The Longhorns now possess a 4-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Briggsdale for a non-league battle on Monday, January 8. Lone Star will confront a Falcons team coming off a 60-40 non-league loss to Stratton (Stratton, CO). The Falcons record now stands at 5-1.

The Bobcats (3-3) will now prepare for their battle against Hanover (Colorado Springs, CO). The Hornets come into the non-league battle with a 3-2 record.
