The Blue Valley North Mustangs (Overland Park, KS) basketball nipped the host Link Academy Lions (Branson, MO), 63-59 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Mustangs (5-0) will now prepare for their test against Blue Springs South (Blue Springs, MO). The Jaguars go into the non-league test with a 5-3 record.
The Lions now own a 2-7 record. They play next when they travel to Rock Bridge for a Freelance test on Sunday, January 7. Link Academy will encounter a Bruins squad coming off a 68-50 non-league win over Beaver Dam (Beaver Dam, WI). The Bruins record now stands at 9-2.
