With the victory, West Allegheny improves its record to 4-5 on the campaign. The Indians travel to Trinity (Washington, PA) to confront the Hillers in a WPIAL 5A 4 challenge on Monday, January 8. The Hillers come into the challenge with a record of 9-1. Trinity won 63-46 in their recent league challenge against Moon Area (Moon Township, PA)

Next up, the Blue Devils confront the Fort Cherry Rangers (McDonald, PA) in a WPIAL 2A 2 challenge, on Monday, January 8. Burgettstown will attempt to improve on its 5-8 season record. The Rangers come into the challenge with a 8-3 record after their 53-33 non-league win over Washington (Washington, PA).
