Maroa-Forsyth Trojans (Maroa, IL) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Central A & M Raiders (Moweaqua, IL), 41-38 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Maroa-Forsyth upgrades its record to 12-3 on the season. The Trojans travel to PORTA/Ashland-Chandlerville Central (Petersburg, IL) to play the Bluejays in a Sangamo bout on Monday, January 8. The Bluejays go into the bout with a record of 18-1. PORTA/Ashland-Chandlerville Central won 45-23 in their recent non-league bout against Teutopolis (Teutopolis, IL)

Next up, the Raiders play the Pawnee/Calvary/Lutheran (Pawnee, IL) in a non-league bout, on Monday, January 8. Central A & M will attempt to upgrade on its 18-2 season record. The go into the bout with a 7-11 record after their 39-31 league loss to Lincolnwood (Raymond, IL).
