The Davis County Mustangs (Bloomfield, IA) basketball felled the host Central Decatur Cardinals (Leon, IA), 61-41 in Saturday's non-league test.

The Mustangs (5-7) will now prepare for their test against Centerville (Centerville, IA). The Big Reds/Redettes go into the South Central test with a 2-8 record. In their last test, Centerville thwarted Moravia (Moravia, IA), 51-34, in a non-league test.

The Cardinals now own a 7-5 record. They play next when they travel to Wayne for a Pride of Iowa - East test on Tuesday, January 9. Central Decatur will encounter a Falcons squad coming off a 77-27 non-league loss to Nodaway Valley (Greenfield, IA). The Falcons record now stands at 5-5.
