Kentucky High School Basketball - Greenup County knocked off by Chesapeake

The Chesapeake Panthers basketball team scored 41 points and held the host Greenup County Musketeers to 30 in the Panthers non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Panthers now sport a 5-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Dawson-Bryant for a Ohio Valley contest on Monday, January 8. Chesapeake will battle a Hornets team coming off a 80-30 league loss to Fairland (Proctorville, OH). The Hornets record now stands at 3-7.
The Musketeers (2-9) will now prepare for their contest against Lewis County (Vanceburg, KY). The Lions enter the District 63 contest with a 4-10 record. In their last contest, Lewis County was defeated by Russell (Russell, KY), 55-28, in a league contest.
