In Saturday's non-league match, the visiting Wagner Red Raiders basketball team scored a decisive 53-23 triumph over the Corsica/Stickney Jaguars.
In their next game, the Red Raiders meet the Irene/Wakonda Eagles (Irene, SD) in a non-league match, on Tuesday, January 9. Wagner will attempt to move on its 6-1 season record. The Eagles enter the match with a 0-8 record after their 44-43 league loss to Gayville-Volin (Gayville, SD).
With the defeat, Corsica/Stickney moves to 2-5 on the year. The Jaguars travel to Winner (Winner, SD) to confront the Warriors in a non-league challenge on Thursday, January 11. The Warriors come into the challenge with a record of 6-2.
