With the victory, Menahga upgrades its record to 8-1 on the campaign. The Braves host Wadena-Deer Creek (Wadena, MN) to play the Wolverines in a AA Section 8 bout on Tuesday, January 9. The Wolverines come into the bout with a record of 6-5. Wadena-Deer Creek won 66-35 in their recent non-league bout against Pillager (Pillager, MN)

Next up, the Pirates play the Park Rapids Panthers (Park Rapids, MN) in a AA Section 8 bout, on Tuesday, January 9. Crookston will attempt to upgrade on its 2-10 season record. The Panthers come into the bout with a 4-8 record after their 77-46 non-league win over Browerville (Browerville, MN).
