    January 6, 2024: Columbus, OH 43229

    Dublin Scioto Irish (Dublin, OH) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Northland Vikings (Columbus, OH), 51-42 in a non-league bout.

    With the win, Dublin Scioto upgrades its record to 6-5 on the season. The Irish host Big Walnut (Sunbury, OH) to play the Golden Eagles in a Ohio Capital - Capital bout on Tuesday, January 9. The Golden Eagles go into the bout with a record of 11-2. Big Walnut won 64-32 in their recent league bout against Westerville North (Westerville, OH)

    Next up, the Vikings play the Linden-McKinley Panthers (Columbus, OH) in a Columbus City - North bout, on Tuesday, January 9. Northland will attempt to upgrade on its 5-5 season record. The Panthers go into the bout with a 5-4 record after their 70-27 league loss to Centennial (Columbus, OH).
