Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Manchester Panthers (Akron, OH) and the host East Dragons (Akron, OH), saw Manchester's basketball squad wallop East by a tally of 63-25.
With the victory, Manchester improves its record to 5-7 on the campaign. The Panthers host Northwest (Canal Fulton, OH) to confront the Indians in a Principals challenge on Wednesday, January 10. The Indians come into the challenge with a record of 1-8. Northwest lost 26-25 in their recent league challenge against Canton South (Canton, OH)
Next up, the Dragons confront the Ellet Orangemen (Akron, OH) in a Akron City challenge, on Monday, January 8. East will attempt to improve on its 1-9 season record. The Orangemen come into the challenge with a 7-4 record after their 73-30 non-league loss to Laurel (Shaker Heights, OH).
