Eleva-Strum Cardinals (Strum, WI) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Glenwood City Hilltoppers (Glenwood City, WI), 43-33 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Eleva-Strum upgrades its record to 3-9 on the campaign. The Cardinals host Arcadia (Arcadia, WI) to play the Raiders in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 9. The Raiders come into the bout with a record of 7-5.

Next up, the Hilltoppers play the Colfax Vikings (Colfax, WI) in a Dunn-St. Croix bout, on Tuesday, January 9. Glenwood City will attempt to upgrade on its 5-10 season record.
