With the victory, Normal University upgrades its record to 4-17 on the campaign. The Pioneers travel to Urbana (Urbana, IL) to play the Tigers in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 9. The Tigers come into the bout with a record of 1-9.

Next up, the Grenadiers play the Rolling Meadows Mustangs (Rolling Meadows, IL) in a Mid-Suburban - East bout, on Monday, January 8. Elk Grove will attempt to upgrade on its 4-15 season record.
