The Rutgers Prep Argonauts (Somerset, NJ) basketball felled the host Ewing Blue Devils (Trenton, NJ), 59-49 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Argonauts (6-2) will now prepare for their test against St. John's (Washington, DC). The Cadets go into the non-league test with a 10-2 record. In their last test, St. John's was beaten by Archbishop Carroll (Washington, DC), 55-43, in a league test.
The Blue Devils now own a 6-3 record. They play next when they host Steinert for a Colonial Valley - Patriot test on Tuesday, January 9. Ewing will encounter a Spartans squad coming off a 31-24 non-league loss to Middletown North (Middletown, NJ). The Spartans record now stands at 5-4.
