The Fairlawn Jets (Sidney, OH) basketball knocked off the host Waynesfield-Goshen Tigers (Waynesfield, OH), 52-44 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Jets (2-12) will now prepare for their test against Houston (Houston, OH). The Wildcats go into the Shelby County test with a 4-7 record. In their last test, Houston went down by Jackson Center (Jackson Center, OH), 47-44, in a league test.
The Tigers now own a 5-5 record. They play next when they travel to Riverside for a non-league test on Tuesday, January 9. Waynesfield-Goshen will encounter a Pirates squad coming off a 50-28 league loss to Covington (Covington, OH). The Pirates record now stands at 4-6.
